Cornerstone Behavioral Clinic - Full Day Program

At Cornerstone Behavioral Services, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, and evidence-based services through a team of professionals. Your child’s team includes Board-Certified and NYS Licensed Behavior Analysts, Special Education Teachers, and Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians. Each student receives a personalized plan designed to maximize progress and skill development across academic and behavioral domains.

Our center utilizes cutting-edge research and strategies to promote each learner’s progress in the most effective, humane, and proactive way. We welcome learners Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. By employing the least restrictive, proactive strategies, we facilitate the successful transition of learners into less restrictive environments. Our intimate center setting ensures students are supported by a dedicated team, fostering behavioral growth and access to grade-level or ability-level academics.

At Cornerstone, we implement a robust social-emotional curriculum to develop learners’ social-emotional skills and regulation tools. Students are taught to use language to express their wants and needs, with systematic strategies to build language, coping, and social skills. Each learner is assigned an individualized curriculum tailored to their specific skill deficits, including communication, problem-solving, perspective taking, compromise, and responding to others’ unwanted behavior. Progress is tracked through our HIPAA-compliant online data system, providing parents and districts real-time access to data and goal progress.

Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans are developed for every student. Staff receive ongoing training in strategy implementation, and daily oversight is maintained. Students can unwind in our sensory gym, which features a swing, bubble tube, sensory wall, bean bags, and weighted blankets. Physical activity is a key component of the program, with a gym space for stretching, enjoying workout videos, playing catch, building blocks, climbing a rock wall, and more.
